 | Zach Vedder, 2017 graduating New Haven High School senior, was the recipient of the Lyndon D. Ebker Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship was established for a graduating senior majoring in an agricultural, engineering, or educational degree. Zach is the son of Kent and Tina Vedder. Zach plans to attend East Central College this fall majoring in civil and architectural engineering then transferring to Missouri S&T in Rolla, MO. Zach was active in basketball, baseball, FBLA, FCA, and a member of the National Honor Society. Lyndon Ebker, late husband of Beth Ebker, was a 30-year, full-time MoDOT employee who retired in 2013 as a construction inspector. After retirement, he continued to work for MoDOT as a part-time maintenance worker. On April 7, 2016, he was killed serving to provide a safe means of transportation to Missouri motorists. |
