Jose Romo-Vazquez is the March Student of the Month for New Haven High School. Jose is the son of Ruben and Alma Romo and is currently a junior. In school Jose is class president, a member of National Honor Society, marching band - trumpet section leader and right guide, Student Council, FBLA, varsity cross country team, varsity track and field team, and choir. Jose has received the following awards: National Hispanic Recognition Award, National Rural and Small Town Recognition Award, President's Award for Educational Excellence, two time Academic All-Conference for varsity cross country, high honor roll for all completed high school semesters, five time FBLA District Leadership Conference Champion, 8th place finalist at FBLA State Leadership Conference, and highest grade of the class for all completed high school courses in which the award was given. Outside of school Jose works as a part-time teller at Citizens Bank, on the weekends as a baker and cashier at Schulte's Bakery, and runs a small lawn maintenance and landscape business with his dad. In his free time he enjoys working out at the gym, hanging out with friends and family, taking his dogs on walks, and learning new things. Congratulations, Jose!
Emma Watson is the March Student of the Month for New Haven Middle School. Emma is the daughter of Sarah Grannemann and Shawn Watson and is currently a 7th grade student. In school Emma is involved in basketball, volleyball, and National Junior Honor Society. Outside of school she is involved in PSR, and she enjoys listening to music and riding her four wheeler. Congratulations, Emma!
