 Ava Oelrichs, the daughter of Wendy Scheer and Russel Oelrichs, was the September Student of the Month for New Haven High School. She is involved in various activities such as marching band, cheerleading, track and field, and FCCLA, as well as the treasurer for the class of 2023 and the president of the National Honor Society. Ava spends her free time outside school working out, reading, painting, listening to music, and crocheting small plushies for her mother’s classroom. She has received numerous awards; High Honor Roll in her Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years, highest grades in Algebra 1, American Government, Health, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus, Academic All-Conference in Cheerleading and Track and Field, and the Academic Activity Award.
 Andrew Gildehaus, the son of Jamie and Bradley Gildehaus, is New Haven Middle School’s September Student of the Month. Andrew is a part of the NHMS basketball team and band. In his free time, Gildehaus enjoys playing baseball, camping, hunting, fishing, boating, and spending time with his family and friends. With his efforts, he has received baseball trophies and medals, and a basketball medal.
