| | The New Haven Youth League hosted their first annual Chad Schatz/NHYL Softball Camp on May 30th and 31st . The camp was from 1pm to 3:30pm each day. The camp was available for girls in the Petite 2 and Chic divisions. Due to rain on Saturday the camp was moved indoors to Memorial Baptist Church. The Youth League would like to thank the church for generously allowing them to use the gym and not have to cancel the camp. Chad Schatz was here last year and hosted a Pitching Clinic for softball pitchers in the league. Chad a native of Sullivan, Missouri and currently resides in Columbia, Missouri and is an assistant softball coach at Missouri S&T in Rolla. The 2 day camp featured drills and skills on hitting, fielding, throwing and pitching. |
