The only really accurate way to find out what type of books people like to read is to ask them. When asked, Willy Schejbal said, “I like to read science fiction, medieval, and sci-fi books because nonfiction books don’t offer the same amount of entertainment, not as well written, and suffer from a lack of imagination.” Robby Cichon said that he likes adventure and books that are in a series. Abby Perdue said that she likes science fiction and romance novels. Alex Madden said, “I enjoy reading fiction, action books because they provide the entertainment and excitement that nonfiction books can’t provide.” Daniel Scheer said, “I don’t read books in my spare time.” The majority of the people asked say they like to read fiction books because of their excitement and ability to picture what isn’t possible or is so rare that it is hardly ever seen.
The world of reading is ever-changing and will always be this way due to the variety of people writing books and the different sources of inspiration people find. What people like to read can also change over time as they modify or develop their personalities. Nonfiction and fiction books will always remain in the world to easily categorize what books people read.
