Mr. Pruessner is one of the mathematic teachers at New Haven High School. He teaches Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Applied Math, and helps with the College online classes. He also is the sponsor for scholarbowl. His room is currently getting air conditioning, which he’s excited about!
When asked to share any information on the school year, Mr. Pruessner replied, “I think this school year is off to a great start, and I'm really enjoying all my students this year. Let's keep it up!”
If Mr. Pruessner isn’t busy with school work, he enjoys running, watching Netflix, playing with his dog, and spending time with his friends and family. Throughout his life, his parents have been his biggest role models. When asked if he could have any other job in the world, what it would be and why, he responded by saying, “ I would be a secret agent, like James Bond. You get to travel a lot, use cool gadgets, drive a nice car, and save the world.”
Thank goodness Mr. Pruessner became a math teacher, and not a secret agent like James Bond, because he isn’t a fan of frogs or heights, so that might have affected his secret agent dream.
If he could live anywhere in the world, you would find him near a warm beach outside. Mr. Pruessner is also a fan of the color green, which you can find him wearing at all the New Haven sporting events.
Mr. Pruessner excelled throughout school and takes great pride in seeing his own students do well .
On behalf of New Haven High, thank you for all your hard work, dedication, and support! -by Molly Munsinger
