The Langenberg family set up the scholarship fund to give the students at New Haven High school the opportunity to continue their education at a community college, college or university that leads to an academic degree. The scholarship is worth $5000 and is payable over a four year period.
Keven was active basketball all four years, Cross Country for 3 years, and track & field for all four years. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the marching band where he was the drum major for 3 years. He received many academic and athletic honors and awards throughout high school including being a State Champion on the 4X800 m relay team his sophomore year. Keven also worked outside of school and volunteered his time to help with the landscaping of the new high school track and planting trees in the city park.
Keven is planning to continue his education at Missouri State University where he plans to pursue a degree in Computer Science.
