New Haven High School senior Kallista Stubblefield is the recipient of the Graden D. Lovelace Memorial Scholarship for STEM. Kallista is the daughter of Eunice Fields of New Haven. The Graden D. Lovelace Scholarship for STEM was created to give students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math careers an opportunity to further their education in those careers. The scholarship is worth $4,000 payable over 4 years. Only those students pursuing careers in STEM are eligible to apply. Kallista is a member of the National Honor Society; she was a Cross Country Manager and the captain of the Scholar Bowl Team. She also participated in many community service activities in school, in our community, as well as surrounding communities. Kallista will be attending Truman State University to pursue a degree in biological sciences. |
