On September 30th, the New Haven Shamrock Cross Country team competed at the St. James Meet.
During the Junior Varsity Men's race, junior Bubba Gale came in first for the Shamrocks with a time of 20:10, then freshman Domenic Olson came in fourth with a time of 20:55, and sophomore Austin Moeckli finished with a time of 21:13. Next, sophomore Dalton Gerdes came in with a time of 21:26, and lastly freshman Colton Ruediger finished with a time of 21:28. The team had a total of 37 points, and came in first overall.
During the Varsity Men’s race, freshman Joseph Rethemeyer came in first for the Shamrocks with a time of 17:52, then senior Keven McDowell came in with a time of 18:17, and freshman Martin Lewis finished with a time of 18:46. Sophomore Ryan Blankenship came in with a time of 19:01 and junior Riley Otten came in with a time of 19:26. The team had a total of 56 points, and placed second.
The next meet will be held Tuesday, October 6th, at Hermann. Good Luck!
