Anna Miller is a junior here at New Haven High School. She is the daughter of the Steve Miller and Angie Miller.
Anna is involved in Future Business Leaders of America, National Honor Society, and Choir. Her hobbies include singing, acting, and competing in FBLA. She has made it to state in Business Math her sophomore year. Anna plans on competing in Help Desk, Accounting 1, and Sales Presentation this year.

She is also planning on applying to a pre-college business program in the summer to Cornell University in New York. One of her biggest dreams is to go to New York, and this is just one of the steps of accomplishing that.
Anna is big on theatre and singing, so when she found out about the production of Legally Blonde at ECC, she knew she had to try out.
She exclaimed, “I had previously looked up ECC’s plays online and when I saw that Legally Blonde Musical was an option, I immediately wanted to tryout!”
A classmate and friend of Anna’s, Emily Lewis, recalled, “At lunch, that’s all she could gush about. When she found out she made it to callbacks, she was thrilled. I knew she was going to do great.”
One afternoon in Algebra 2 class, Anna, who had been refreshing her email all day, finally received word that she was one of the lead roles in the East Central College musical, Legally Blonde. “I was extremely excited because now I get to work in a professional theatre,’ Anna stated.
The cast of the show practices Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for about 3 hours each rehearsal.
There was also a week long “bootcamp” for rehearsals that took place during the last week of December. Each rehearsal lasted all day from 9 am to 9 pm to ensure that the show will be perfect.
“At first bootcamp was a lot of fun, but I was glad to go back to school because it was exhausting,” Anna remarked.
Even though her practices may be tough, it will be exciting to see her and the rest of the cast perform.
Legally Blonde the Musical performances are Thursday through Sunday, on February 18th-21st at East Central College. Come see your favorite Delta Nu, Pilar, played by Anna Miller!
