It’s hard to believe it’s this time of year again! The flowers are blooming, the weather is warming, and. . .wait--high school graduation is near! With only a week left until the class of 2016 receives their diplomas, it’s sad to think the Senior Class has only a few opportunities left to make high school memories. Fortunately, the seniors have had many opportunities throughout the past four years!
“My favorite high school memory is Senior Trip because not many people get to experience opportunities like we did in traveling the East Coast with one another. Another one of my favorite memories is going to state in volleyball back to back years.” -Emma Borcherding
“One of my favorite high school memories was the Cross Country State Championships because it was a great experience to get fourth in state.”-Drew Armfield
“I cannot choose just one memory to be my favorite. A few of them, however, include freshman P.E. with Mr. Steinhoff, hallway swimming with Emma, going undefeated in volleyball my sophomore year, and going to state in volleyball!”-Maddie Fleer
“My favorite memory from high school has to be the bonding time I had with my classmates during my senior year because I feel like we were all generally feeling the same bittersweet emotions with high school ending, and we all matured so much over the years. It feels like we are all closer now than ever before.”-Ereka Bailey
As you can see, the seniors of New Haven High School all have unique favorite high school memories. Let’s wish the seniors the best of luck for the future! Hopefully they have opportunities to make many more exciting memories in the future!
