Kyle Ruediger has been named New Haven High School's recipient of the St. Louis Post Dispatch Scholar Athlete Award for 2015. Kyle has been a 4 year member of both the baseball and basketball programs. He has earned varsity letters in baseball all four years and in basketball each of the past three years.
Kyle earned 1st Team Four Rivers Conference recognition in baseball his junior year and in basketball as a sophomore, junior, and senior -- becoming a unanimous choice this past year. Kyle joined the 1,000 point club his senior year and finished as the 11th leading scorer in the history of the New Haven boys basketball program with 1,190 points, despite losing several games to injury throughout his career.

Kyle has excelled academically as well, ranking near the top of his class and has epitomized what a student-athlete should be. He will continue his education at the University of Missouri with the intention of pursuing a mathematics-related degree.
Kyle will receive his award on Tuesday, May 5th, at Busch Stadium in St. Louis, prior to the Cardinals game.
