 | By NHES Library Leaders New Haven Elementary School celebrated National Young Readers Week November 7-11th. On Thursday, November 10th Mrs. Meyer, our principal, joined principals across our country by accepting the PRINCIPAL CHALLENGE from The Pizza Hut BOOK IT! Program. The challenge was to read ALL DAY from the first bell to the last bell of the school day. Mrs. Meyer read in places that you would never think. She read on the school roof and she set up a tent on our playground. Students and classes joined her throughout the day enjoying all kinds of books. We thank Mrs. Meyer for demonstrating how important reading is!!  |
