On 10-23-2019 at approximately 9:10 pm deputies responded to the 9000 block of Whiskey Creek Spur in Union, Mo. in attempt to locate a stolen vehicle, a 2005 gold colored Ford Focus, from St. Louis County. Upon arriving to the area, the vehicle was observed in a driveway on Whiskey Creek Spur. The deputy observed 2 subjects in the vehicle and another male subject standing near the stolen car. The male subject outside of the car took off running into a nearby wooded area. The deputy gave chase but was not able to locate him. The suspect vehicle started backing out as another deputy attempted to stop them. The vehicle refused to stop and started toward Whiskey Creek Rd. A third deputy was traveling on Whiskey Creek Spur also attempted to stop the suspect vehicle as the suspect vehicle was approaching him head on. The suspect vehicle made a U-turn and traveled down Whiskey Creek Spur. The vehicle continued to flee from deputies and continued down Whiskey Creek Spur at a slow speed. The suspect vehicle traveled to the dead end of Whiskey Creek Spur and into a field which had numerous wooden pallets stacked in piles. The suspect vehicle traveled between the maze of wooden pallets and ultimately became stuck after driving over several pallets and becoming disabled. The driver, Nicole Jean Lister a 35 year old female from Union, was charged with Tampering with a Motor Vehicle 1st Degree and Resisting Arrest for a Felony. Bond was set at $20,000 cash only on 10/24/19. The passenger, D'arin Thomas Sprayberry a 22 year old male from St. Clair, was charged with Escape or Attempted Escape from Confinement and Resisting Arrest. Bond was set at $20,000 cash only on 10/24/19. Sprayberry was on court ordered work release from confinement at the Franklin County Detention Facility at the time of this incident and he had failed to return per the court order. | On October 24, 2019 deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a report of a domestic assault that occurred in the 600 block of Paradise Mobile Home Park outside St. Clair. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with a 59-year-old male at a neighboring home. He reported his wife attacked him and choked him during an argument in their home. He sustained minor visible injury to his face and neck that was consistent with his report of the assault. Deputies then located the female at her home. She denied causing the injury to her husband during questioning. The deputies arrested the female for the assault and transported her to the Franklin County Adult Detention Facility. A warrant for Domestic Assault 3rd degree was issued on the female, identified as Amanda Marie Benton, age 46 of St. Clair. Bond was set at $7,500. |
