Pin Oak Farms U-Pick Pumpkin Patch will be opening this weekend. The Pumpkin Patch will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in October. Pin Oak is owned by Duane and Michelle Brune and is located on 2431 Highway E, in New Haven. With free admission, parking, and hayrides to the patch, who wouldn't want to enjoy the autumn fun?
Pin Oak Farm is more than just pumpkins--it’s also family fun! The pumpkin patch offers: pumpkins of all varieties, 5-acre corn maze, Tub o’corn for little kids, kiddie corral, face painting, play areas for children, straw-bale maze, farm animals to pet, fall decorations, group bonfires, great fall picture backdrops, and yummy treats.

At Pin Oak, you can also host group events! Group activities cost a minimum of $75 and the cost per person is $7.50. You can play around the patch in the afternoon, and when the sun goes down, you will be taken through a 30-45 minute hayride around the vegetable and cattle farm. When you get back, you will be welcomed with a bonfire and straw hay bales for relaxing while you roast your s’mores or hotdogs. When you are finished for the night, they will take you back to your vehicles, or you can bring your tent and stay the night.
If you decide to visit Pin Oak with your children, your child can color one of the pictures from their website. If you turn it into Pin Oak, your child will receive a free mini pumpkin.
