On Thursday, February 23, the New Haven Middle School volleyball team played their first game of the 2017 season. The seventh graders kicked off the night with a game that kept you on the edge of your seat the whole game. The first set was a back and forth set, but the shamrocks came out on top, and they were ready for the next set. The shamrocks were hoping for an easy set to end the game, but Washington was not going to give up that easily. The Washington Blue Jays won the second set which was a battle the whole time. The Shamrocks had had enough and wanted this victory. The Shamrocks got easily to the 23 point when Washington served multiple aces. Finally the shamrocks got their 24 point and finished the game on top. The seventh grade Shamrocks were ecstatic with their victory.
