The preferences in forms of entertainment here at New Haven High differ greatly from student to student. There is a vast spectrum of favorite books, movies, and even music.

When discussing books in a recent poll sent out, students reported liking anything from horror, to action, to dystopias, and even to supernatural books. Although, according to the results of the poll, New Haven’s top favorite book genre is-- romance.

Some of the favorite books are:

He later added, “As long as you have a good story to tell and you tell it well, I don't care.”

Students were also asked about their movie preferences. Although there were many genres mentioned, horror / thriller movies were the number 1 choice.

Many of the preferred movies of those students who participated in a recent poll are:

Later, students were asked about their favorite musical genres. From the results, the students here at New Haven High are either for or against country music-- there is little to no inbetween. With that being said, the top voted musical genres are-- Hip-hop / Rap and Pop.

According to the poll results, the top listened-to songs of New Haven High School are:
  • “Good Riddance” by Green Day

Although the differences are great, and we weren’t able to settle the country music debate, it seems like all of the students have great taste. Sit back and enjoy your favorites.
