The annual American Enterprise Breakfast was held on Friday, November 20th. New Haven High School’s FBLA chapter held the breakfast for local businesses. Approximately eighteen business men and women from local business, including those from Bank of Franklin County, Citizens Bank, and People's Savings Bank, attended the breakfast. FBLA hosts the breakfast to show appreciation for local businesses and to thank them for being a huge resource to the community.
Laura Strickland, New Haven’s FBLA sponsor, stated “I always enjoy this day. It's a lot of work and an early morning, but it is nice to meet with the local businesses, and I think the kids get a little lesson in business etiquette.” Mrs. Strickland also uses the breakfast to discuss field trips and speaker opportunities.
This is a tradition that is sure to continue for many years to come. On behalf of New Haven High School, thank you to local businesses for being a huge part of the success of New Haven’s economics status.
