More than one million in the United States get Cancer each year.
The New Haven Elementary Service Leaders are hosting a Dance-A-Thon on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the school cafeteria and gym. All funds collected will go the the local American Cancer Society. Students are currently gathering donations from friends and family. Students can also purchase a Cancer Ribbon in memory or in honor of a loved one who is battling cancer. You can purchase a ribbon in the gym any morning this week for a donation of at least $1.00. Students will color their ribbon the color that represents the type of cancer their loved one has been diagnosed. Ribbons will be displayed around the school as motivation for our students to keep dancing.
