In their final regular season game in Hermann on Thursday the 16th, New Haven pulled out a close one with a 41-36 win over the rival Bearcats. The win gives New Haven a conference record of 4-3 on the season.

Sophomore Allison Stiers led the way in scoring for Hermann with 17 points, along with 7 rebounds. She was followed by junior Brooke Grosse and senior Emily Engemann, who both finished with 6 points each.
Coach Doug Peirick commented on the game stating, “It was another good win in these last few games for us. Anytime you can go onto another team’s home court in the Four Rivers Conference and come out with a win, you deserve to feel good about it.”
He continued: “It was also the second time we played them this year, and that’s never an easy task. Hermann is a really good team. Coach Anderson always has them prepared and ready to play. Our girls were able to execute our game plan, and we came away with a very good team victory.”
With New Haven winning their district tournament, they will play in the sectional round at Hannibal High School Wednesday at 7:45 P.M. against Scotland County. Good luck, Green!
