New Haven 7th grade boys finished their season with a record of four wins and six losses with wins against South Callaway, St. Clair, Bland, and Hermann. They lost to Owensville, Montgomery, Pacific, Sullivan, Washington and Union. Players this season were William Hellman, Cody Lamke, Mitchell Meyer, Charlie Roth, Colin Steinbeck, Isaac Vedder, and Logan Williams.
To start the season they played Bland and won 36-14. With Isaac Vedder having 9 points, Charlie Roth with 8, Logan WIlliams with 6, Cody Lamke with 5, and William Hellmann and Mitchell Meyer both having 4 points. Isaac Vedder having his season high in points in this game.
Their next game was against South Callaway which they won 36-20, with Charlie Roth leading in scoring with 14 points, Logan Williams with 12, Isaac Vedder and Cody Lamke with 4, and Mitchell Meyer with 2.
For the third game of the season the Shamrocks played Owensville and lost 44-11. With Logan Williams scoring 6 and Charlie Roth scoring 5.
For the fourth home game in a row the Shamrocks played St. Clair and won 48-31. Logan Williams caught fire in this game with a whopping 28 of New Haven’s points, with Charlie Roth having 10, Mitchell Meyer with 4, and William Hellmann, Colin Steinback, and Isaac Vedder having 2 each.
For their first away game of the season the Shamrocks lost a heartbreaker against Montgomery 33-25. Logan Williams led in scoring with 12 points, Charlie Roth with 6, and Isaac Vedder with 5.
For their second away game of the season New Haven Shamrocks played Washington and lost 51-18, with Charlie Roth scoring 7, Logan WIlliams scoring 6, Mitchell Meyer and Cody Lamke with 2, and Isaac Vedder with 1.
The New Haven Shamrocks then played Sullivan and lost 37-14. Mitchell Meyer had 5 points, Logan William with 4 points, William Hellmann and Charlie Roth with 2 and Isaac Vedder with 1.
New Haven’s final home game against Pacific was lost in a close game that went down to the wire with a score of 25-22. Logan Williams had 13, Mitchell Meyer had 5, and William Hellmann had 4.
For New Haven's second to last game they beat Hermann 36-20 on Hermanns Pack the Gym night. Logan Williams scored 20 points, Mitchell Meyer had his season high of 12 points, and Isaac Vedder scored 2.
In their final game New Haven lost to Union 33-17 with Logan Williams scoring 8, Charlie Roth scoring 6, Mitchell scoring 2, and Isaac Vedder having 1.
In conclusion the New Haven 7th grade boys had a pretty good season. But next year they will be coming back firing on all cylinders.
