Mrs. Munsinger graduated from New Haven High School in 1987. During her high school years, she played the trumpet in the marching band, played volleyball and softball, and was a cheerleader. She attended East Central College and Missouri Baptist University. She has an associate of arts degree in Early Childhood and Family Development. She has two daughters; Molly is a senior, and Makenzie is in eighth grade. Mrs. Munsinger and her husband will be celebrating their 20th anniversary on October 8, 2014. During her free time she enjoys shopping, camping, and spending with her family.
When asked about why she choose to become cheer coach, Mrs. Munsinger commented, “Well I know LuAnn wasn’t going to do it alone, and Mr. Hoener came up to me and asked me if I would be able to do it, being as I was a cheerleader in high school. I also enjoy the school spirit.”
When asked what she was looking forward to, she said, “ I am looking forward to meeting the girls and working with each and every one of them. I also look forward to working with LuAnn because I know that we will be able to learn different techniques from each other.”
In conclusion, Mrs. Munsinger is looking forward to being a cheerleading coach for the first time, so she can keep up the school spirit. -by Jennifer Alvarez
