2016-2017 Student Council

In August 29th, 2016, at 1:45 seven people ran for StuCo in New Haven Middle School. There were a total of six eighth graders and one seventh grader. All of these candidates wrote speeches and hung up posters in the hallways.
Only two people signed up for president, Sheny Delgado and Maya Wideman. They are both eighth graders, and have been in New Haven for many years. The winner ended up to be Sheny Delgado.

Treasurer- Jacob Engelbrecht
Some people who did not run for an officer office were nominated for Representatives. Representatives are nominated by other people in their class, and then classmates vote for two people out of the list. These people were,

- Miranda Yarbrough
- Logan Williams
- Lucy Hoener
- Isaac Vedder
- Maya Wideman
- Matthew Otten
