The New Haven Middle School Student Council is planning to raise money this month by selling "Sham-grams". Student council member Matthew Otten, who helped plan the project, commented that "it was pretty fun when we did it in elementary school." They will be selling Sham-grams on Friday, Feb. 10 and Monday, Feb. 13 in the cafeteria for 25 cents each. STUCO has chosen to donate their earnings to the New Haven and Arizona Care Centers.
Each Sham-gram will have a positive message and candy for the students. They will be delivered during lunch on Feb. 14th. STUCO hopes the fundraiser will help let its students at school and at the care centers know that others care about them!
