Mackenzy Vedder: “My favorite memory was taking the state run my sophomore year. Also, I enjoyed all the wonderful times I shared with my friends.”
Taylor Covington: “Getting to cheer on the boys at the games and mimicking the cheerleaders. Also, when Emily Kallmeyer took the her basketball jersey home after the state game, and Mr. Peirick didn't even notice until her mom called and asked him for directions on how to wash the jersey.”
Kayla Borchering: “Our freshman year when we were short 2 lay ups or something, and Mr. Peirick was like, ‘Do the math.’ So, we were like, ‘Alright, only two push ups.’ And he said,’Ok. 6 push ups.’ Everyone was like, ‘What the heck!’ Then Kenzy yelled, ‘What kind of math is that!’”
Molly Munsinger: “My sophomore year at our last home game against Owensville. I remember this night because I inbounded the ball to Mackenzy Vedder under our basket, who shot, and we won the game on a last-second shot. Then, during the varsity game, Kierstin was able to make a last-second three pointer and won the game for varsity. It was two exciting endings to two well-fought games on our home floor.”
Hannah Kruse: “My freshman year, I’ll never forget how intimidated I was when I had to guard Emily Kallmeyer, Kayla Oetter, or Elise McDonald during scrimmages.”
Julie Moeckli: “My favorite memory would have to be last year at districts when both the boys’ and girls’ teams won. It was great to see the fan turnout, and the fact that both teams won made it the best night.”
Thank you, ladies, for all your time and effort. Best wishes to each and every one of you as you embark on a new adventure after graduation.
