Mary Frances was born in Marthasville, Missouri on April 21, 1930, a daughter of the late Eugene & Frances (Wussler) Louis.
She was the widow of Henry Oberg. They were united in marriage on June 19, 1954, in Dutzow, Missouri
Mary Frances worked on their dairy farm along side her husband. After they retired she took care of elderly folks in their homes and also baby sat for others children. She was a member of the Assumption Church, New Haven and of the St. James Church Ladies Aid at Stony Hill.
Mary Frances loved having people over to play cards, she loved a good card game and also enjoyed playing other games. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Kase & special friend Dave Bockting, of New Haven; and Linda Rohlfing & husband Roger, of Washington; by five grandchildren, Chris Kase & wife Jonell, of Shawnee, Kansas; Janice Lindemann & husband Tony, of Washington, Missouri; JoAnn Watson & husband Tom, of Olathe, Kansas; Jessica Gildehaus & husband Jason, of Washington; and Rachel Kertz & husband Tanner, of Union, Missouri; and by seven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, August 6th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m.at St. James Evangelical Church, Stony Hill. Burial will be at St. James Cemetery.
