The September Student of the Month is Kate Weiser. Kate is the daughter of Chad and Michelle Weiser. Kate is actively involved in FCA (President), UCC Youth Fellowship (President), Student Council (Vice-President), Treasurer of the Class of 2017, FCCLA, NHS, Garden Club, FBLA, Girls on the Run and the Shamrock Track and Field Team. When she is not at school or serving in one of her many clubs or organizations, Kate is employed at the New Haven Ice Cream Shoppe and works as a lifeguard at the New Haven pool.
One of her teachers commented that, "Kate is very involved at New Haven High School and she attends every meeting with a smile on her face and is always eager to help any way she can." Another teacher commented that, "Kate is the ultimate Student Leader."
After completing high school, Kate plans to attend a college in Missouri and pursue a career in education.
