Harold Schowe passed away Friday October 28, 2016 at the New Haven Care Center, New Haven, Missouri at the age of 86 years. He was married to Harriet (nee Kassebaum) Schowe for 63 years. Harold leaves behind his wife Harriet,a son Don, daughter Donna. Three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister Deola Meyer, brother Harry Schowe, sisters Leona Marlowe and Bertha Hoerstkamp.
Harold was a member of St.Peter's U.C.C. Church and a passed member of the church council, New Haven American Legion since 1954 and the local MFA. Harold spent his life farming in the Berger and New Haven area. Proudly served his country during the Korean War in the Army.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 2, at 2:30 PM at St. Peter's UCC Church, New Haven, Missouri. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home in New Haven, Missouri. Burial will follow the service at St. Peter's Cemetery.
Donations may be given to St. Peter's Building Fund or New Haven Senior Center.
