It’s been a long, stressed school-filled week in New Haven, Missouri, and Friday night is quickly approaching. What are your plans? Are you headed to the Walt or ice skating at the DHL? Maybe you just want to stay home! No matter what your preference, everybody’s got different plans for Friday night. Here’s what the students of NHHS have to say about their Friday night fun:
Sophomore Kate Weiser’s favorite Friday nights happen during the summer. She stated, “In summer, I like to swim with friends and go to bonfires and on hayrides. I also enjoy late-night Wal-mart stops with Julie Moeckli!”
Junior Emily Moreno had a different take on Friday nights. On her typical Friday night, she just likes to take it easy. “On my Friday nights, I love just sitting at my house and watching Netflix, specifically TV episodes of House. I snuggle up with my blanket and eat popcorn. That’s usually my Friday night, if I’m not cheering, of course!”
Senior Kenzy Vedder spends her Friday nights making memories. “I love going to the boy’s Friday night basketball games. Not only do I enjoy watching the boys play, I love cheering along with the cheerleaders and getting to spend time with my best gal pals. High school doesn’t last forever, so I cherish these last few Friday nights I have!”
As Kenzy stated above, high school doesn’t last forever, so what are you doing with your high school Friday nights? Can you relate to the students at New Haven High School?
