Franklin County Deputies are seeking information on the whereabouts of a stolen vehicle, and a person of interest in.
Around 8:30 AM on March 9, a red 2003 GMC Sonoma Extended Cab 4x4 with a silver roof rack and MO license 0MV-749, was stolen from a location in St Clair City Limits. Deputies spotted the vehicle in the Moselle area around 9:00 AM and a pursuit was initiated. The suspect vehicle led Deputies on a high speed pursuit east bound on I-44 from the 245 MM to the Villa Ridge area. The suspected driver and vehicle have not been located at the time of this release. The vehicle is possibly abandoned in the Villa Ridge / St Mary's Road area and would be missing a bumper.
Jerry Courtway Jr, 44 year old male of Richwoods, MO, is wanted for questioning as a person of interest in the theft of the vehicle and subsequent pursuit. A 23 year old white male passenger was arrested while walking on St Mary’s Road shortly after Deputies lost sight of the vehicle, and charges are being sought.
