The deputy ordered the subject that got out of the van to stop however he kept walking away. The deputy again ordered him to stop and he eventually did. While searching the subject the deputy located a substance believed to be methamphetamine and other drug related paraphernalia. The subject gave a false name when questioned. He was eventually identified and taken in to custody for investigation of narcotics violations and warrants.
A second deputy was looking for the vehicle that fled. He entered Circle C Trailer Court outside of Pacific and was informed by a witness that a male and female just ran in to the woods. Deputies believed it was the two individuals who fled in the van. The van was located in Circle C.
At around 5:00 PM, that same day deputies responded to two subjects walking the railroad tracks in the Gray Summit area matching the description of the subjects that fled in the van. Deputies made contact with a male and female. Both matched the description of subject that fled in the van. When approaching the subjects on the tracks both fled on foot but the male did eventually stop. He was taken in to custody for investigation of possession of narcotics. The female remained at large.
The female was located later on in the Labadie area. She was taken in to custody for investigation of narcotics violations. She is 34 years old from the New Haven area. The male subjects were ages 43 from Labadie, and 26 from St. Louis. Both male subjects were on parole.
