The event, beginning at noon, will feature hourly canon firing, music, and many children’s activities. Artist demos in glassblowing, blacksmithing, pottery, wood carving, and candle making will be held.
A parade will be held at 12:30 pm to kick off the event. A veterans ceremony will follow.
Vendors will be open along Front Street starting at noon. The Pickney Bend and Second Shift spirit garden will be open all day, along with various food vendors serving chili, chili dogs, funnel cakes, fish and chips, nachos, and more.
There will also be Civil War, World War I, and World War II re-enactors performing throughout the day.
