| | By: Abbey Grater Babysitting is a new thing FCCLA is trying out this year at New Haven High School on Saturday, February 11th, from 5 P.M. to 10 P.M. The teachers can bring their children to the high school to participate in Valentine’s Day-themed activities such as arts and crafts. The FCCLA members are doing this for the teachers with children to give them a fun and stress-free night out. President of FCCLA Emily Scheer commented, “I think it is a really good idea and I am excited to see the outcome. This idea will help get FCCLA members active and involved in the club.” Hannah White also responded with, “I think that it is a very good idea, and allows us to help out. Also this is something new that should be fun.” Katie Borcherding also commented, “I think it's an awesome service. They have some great activities planned and my kids are so excited. My daughter has talked about it pretty much every day for the last week when I first told her about it.” |
