On February 23, 2018 a deputy with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office conducted follow up investigations at the two Dollar General stores that were burglarized. A witness was able to provide information that led to the identification of a possible suspect. The deputy responded to the residence of that suspect and located a vehicle and the suspect matching the person in the surveillance footage. Upon questioning the suspect he admitted to breaking into both Dollar General Stores. Stolen property from the stores was located in the suspect's home. The suspect was identified as Vincent James Stockell, age 28 from Pacific. He was arrested and charges were filed with the Franklin County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. A warrant was issued on Stockell for Burglary 2nd degree. Bond was set at $50,000. All people are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. |
