In late February, the middle school students were given an assignment to write a persuasive letter convincing a company to send products. Earlier in the month, an article ran regarding an 8th student who had received a response from the company Mystery Tackle Box.
A few weeks later, several more students received a variety of products from their desired companies.
Seventh graders Dori McCarty and Reece Garren together received 100 books from Scholastic, which are being donated to the school library.
Other seventh graders, such Grace Faris and Emilee Hinten, received Expo markers from Expo, and sheet protectors from School Specialty.
In the eighth grade, Jay Eichelberger and Demetri Pataky were both presented with items from their companies.
Jay Eichelberger received a baseball bat and mitt from Rawlings.
Demetri Pataky received stress balls from the United States Navy.
Congratulations middle school students!
