Athletes who are interested in track (and are not currently on a high school or middle school team) are encouraged to signup. Athletes who are currently in their school’s track season can compete with the Jets in the summer and winter offseason. The 2016 season starts Monday, April 4 and runs through the end of May with meets in St. Louis and throughout Missouri. Interested athletes and parents can learn more about The Franklin County Jets Track Team by texting your name, email address and then the word JETS to 58885 (ex.: john doe, johndoe@gmail.com, JETS). Information will be sent directly to the email address. Anyone with questions can also call Mason Dukatschek at (314) 960-7852.
The Jets main goal is to provide an organized running program for young athletes (ages 9 and up) that is fun, competitive, social, and informative. We hope to promote the sport to area athletes and help them prepare for athletics in high school and college. Our mission is to provide organized running and track and field competition opportunities for kids in middle school, high school and later elementary grades.
Registration is now open for the season that starts April 4 and runs through the end of May with options to continue in the summer and participate in cross country in the fall.
Athletes who are not currently running with their middle or high school team can participate in the spring (April-May) season. The Jets also hopes to participate in National Track Meets after the school season ends, further allowing aspiring track athletes opportunities to train and compete in the off season.
