In March of 2012, Citizens Bank began offering Shamrock Debit Cards through their School Spirit Debit Card Program. In 2013 Citizens Bank donated a check to the New Haven School District for $2,006.05, in 2014 they donated $2,843.45, and this year Citizens Bank presented a check in the amount of $3,539.95.
Overall, Citizens Bank has donated $8,389.45 to the New Haven School District and a total of $29,000 to six different local school districts as a result of the School Spirit Debit Card Program.
Kim Kohlbusch and Tracy Langenberg of Citizens Bank presented this year’s check in the amount of $3,539.95 to elementary students from the New Haven School District. This year Citizens Bank has requested that the school district use this check towards the new playground at the elementary school.
