The kickball tournament will be held at the Bock and Lions fields. There will be events for people of all ages. In order to do any of the fun activities, you have to buy a wristband that will be sold at the bake sale table. Each wristband costs $3.
“Well, I'm really excited to see how the Kickball Tournament turns out.” Emma Eichelberger, a sophomore at New Haven, voiced. Emma continued, “Also, I really love baked goods, so I'm excited to see what everyone brings. Jokingly, Emma said, “I will definitely be bringing money of my own for some treats while I am working and enjoying some friendly competition.” At the bake sale there will be typical baked goods; plus, STUCO will be selling sno cones to cool anyone off on the hot day.
One of the activities will be face painting. Sophomores Anna Miller and Kate Weiser will be painting faces. Kate stated, “I think that meeting all the creative little kids that are going to be there and and fulfilling their big ideas will be the best part of face painting.”
The bounce house, provided by El Ranchitos, will be supervised by Karissa Durbin and Jenny Gallardo, both seniors at New Haven High.
Emily Lewis, a sophomore at New Haven High, will supervise the 3-legged race. Patricia Weatherly, also a sophomore at New Haven High, is supervising the water balloon toss. Ereka Bailey, a Junior at New Haven High, and Taylor Oetterer, a sophomore at New Haven High, are supervising the washers and hillbilly golf.
In the end, the Business Tech class is hoping to make plenty of money for Memorial Baptist Church Buddy Bags program. You can help by coming out to the kickball tournament and showing your support!
