Join me as we take a spooky trip in a thrilling countdown of the scariest, creepiest Halloween movies out there. For the next twelve days leading up to Halloween, I will be presenting to you different horror movies that you might not have heard of before, opening your mind and helping you get into the spirit of Halloween. Today, we proceed to #12.
Today I present to you The Shining, which is a classic movie to get you into the spirit of Halloween. In the beginning of the movie, the Torrence family heads to a deserted hotel during the winter, where hardly anybody is able to reach. The father, who is played by Jack Nicholson, has a spectacular part where he becomes violent as he is increasingly influenced by an evil presence in the hotel. While this is happening, his son, who is played by Danny Lloyd, sees things from the past and the future.
This movie has great actors, a spooky plot, and a chilling ambiance. The Shining is a great classic to add to your movie list if you like longer movies.
