A single mother, played by Essie Davis, struggles to take care of her child after the loss of her husband. Samuel, the child who is played by Noah Wiseman, has a fear of monsters. During one evening, the mother reads a book about the ‘Babadook’ monster which ignites a frenzy of trying to destroy the book, in hopes of ridding their home of the monster.
The Babadook plays on your worst fears, bedtime monsters. After seeing this movie, you will be scared of all the dark parts of your home-- you won’t even want to get up in the middle of the night. This movie will make you have goosebumps late at night.
