Join me as we take a spooky trip in a thrilling countdown of the scariest, creepiest Halloween movies out there. For the next six days leading up to Halloween, I will be presenting to you different horror movies that you might not have heard of before, opening your mind and helping you get into the spirit of Halloween. Today, we proceed to #6.
A small town called Sleepy Hollow is cursed by the headless horseman. Ichabod Crane, played by Johnny Depp, is intrigued by the curse, and upon arrival, learns of the secrets and murder at play in the legend behind the attacks.
Sleepy Hollow is a gothic horror that is excellently presented by Tim Burton, who uses special effects to magnify the movie. Sleepy Hollow’s climax is unexpected and exciting, which makes the film, as a whole, incredible. The A-list cast includes Christina Ricci, Miranda Richardson, and Christopher Lee. They did a fantastic job making Sleepy Hollow a great Halloween movie.
