Coming March 5, Shamrock Shindig from 10:00am to 1:00pm at Old New Haven School, 810 Maupin Avenue. This Family Program will open at 10am with Irish dance by students from Holy Infant School in Ballwin. The students will perform and give a demonstration of dance steps for anyone who might wish to learn. Storyteller Paul Schwartzkopf will entertain with tales of leprechauns and Irish lore at 11:00am. Storytime for preschool and school age kids is scheduled for noon.
Irish music, trivia, crafts, cookie decorating, and snacks will be available throughout the event. Leprechaun hats, St. Brigid’s cross, shamrocks, potato prints and bead necklaces are among the crafts for kids.
