Preschool Storytime continues each Tuesday morning at 10:00 am and on Saturday, May 21. Our themes are outdoor fun and camping. Storytime features songs, stories, finger plays, and fun for kids up to kindergarten age.
Read, Build and Play will be 11:00am Saturday, May 21 for kids 4-12. Hear a story and take the Lego challenge “Mrs. McBloom clean up your classroom.”
Kid’s Club for grades 1-5 starts on May 17 and continues through July 31. Themes for May 17 and 24 are Frisbee Day and Build with Strawbees. Free and fun activities for school age kids.
Summer Reading Program On Your Mark, Get Set Read signups start on May 31. Programs for preschoolers, kids, teens and adults will held during June and July. Stop by the branch or go to scenicregional.org for details. Summer is great time to read and get in the game at the library.
Christy award winning author Katherine Reay will join the New Haven book club on Wednesday, May 25 at 5:00pm. We will discuss the Bronte Plot. Copies of the book may be checked out at the branch. Please call to register for this special evening.
Guitar for Beginners starts on May 11 and continues each Wednesday at 6:00pm. These chord guitar lessons are free; just bring your acoustic guitar and get started. Registration is required, and song sheets will be provided.
La Leche League will meet on Saturday, May 21, at 10:30am, registration is not required.
