Quentin Jacobson is a simple, stay-out-of-the spotlight kind of guy. Margo Roth Spiegelman is a magnificently beautiful and equally frivolous girl hungry for adventure. How do these two bond? Quentin seems to be living through Margo. He is envious of her spirit and her carefree nature, so he tries to be as like her as he possibly can.
A reason you should read this book is all the characters in the book are so different, you can find yourself living through one of them yourself. That’s the glorious thing about this book--it has a little something for each taste
This book is all about finding yourself and chasing what matters to you. Q is pulled down with this idea that everything is fake, and he starts to believe it. He starts to truly care about only what matters to him. What this book should teach you is that you shouldn’t devote all your time and energy into little things that do not mean much. Find something worth chasing and chase it.
This book is so exciting, you will find your fingers tingling and tapping, just to have a chance to read a few more sentences. This book will make you feel, in Margo’s words, “the way you should feel your whole life.” Paper Towns is becoming a movie July 17th, so be sure to check it out!
