If you have ever enjoyed the scent of a rose, you’ll have experienced the aromatic qualities of essential oils. As well as their beautiful fragrance, essential oils have long been used for food preparation, beauty treatment, and health care.
On March 29 at 6:00 pm, New Haven library is hosting “Essential Oils 101 –What, When, and How” – a talk by Lori Bourgeois RN, who has over twenty-three years of experience as a Registered Nurse. The session will be held at The Old School, Maupin Ave, New Haven, and Lori will explain what essential oils are, and when and how best to use them. The event is free to attend and will last sixty to ninety minutes. Pre-registration is essential; please call the library on (573) 237-2189, or drop in to the New Haven branch to reserve your place.
