Verllie Thompson Feltes, 93, of Leslie, MO, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at her granddaughter's home in Washington, Missouri. 
Verllie was born in St. Aubert, Missouri on August 27, 1924, a daughter of the late Albert Clayton & Kate Belle (McLaughlin) Thompson.
She was married to Francis Thompson. He preceded her in death on July 3, 1959.  She later remarried to Carl J. Feltes on September 29, 1963 at Assumption Church in New Haven.  Carl preceded her in death on December 6, 1997.
Verllie was a member of Assembly of God Church, Gerald, Missouri.  Her church was very important to her.
She was a homemaker but also worked various jobs at Langenberg Hat Factory and Hawthorne's both in New Haven and also for Vicks Drive-In Restaurant. In her free time Verllie enjoyed gardening, canning, cooking, fishing in the Elkhorn River, playing the piano, and feeding and watching animals.  She loved spending time with her grandchildren and loved her cat.
Verllie is survived by three sons, Rholand Thompson & wife Donna, of New Haven, Missouri; Larry Thompson & friend Regina Biermann, of Hermann, Missouri; and Linn Thompson & wife Debbie, of Leslie, Missouri; by three daughters, Leeanna Hasty, of New Haven, Missouri; Donna Klingsick & husband Gene, of Hermann, Missouri; and  Ruth Hines & husband Ron, of Brighton, Illinois; by a step-son, David Feltes & wife Ellen, of Morrison, Illinois; two step-daughters, Patsy Watkins, of Bethalto, Illinois; and Shirley Wall & husband Thomas, of Independence, Missouri, and by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, Francis & Carl, by two brothers, Stanley & Percy Thompson, one sister, Marie Nichols, two sons-in-law, Leland & Ray Hasty, a daughter-in-law, Eylane Thompson, a granddaughter Angel Sullentrup, a grandson, Lacy Moorehead, and two great granddaughters, Taylor Thompson, and Kathryn Hasty Barton.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18th from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, New Haven, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m, with Glen Thompson officiating. 
Burial will be at Nortman Cemetery, New Haven, Missouri.  Memorials may be given to Nortman Cemetery or Mercy Hospice.   C/O Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
