Junior Brande Kubiak said, “[The Shamrocks] played really hard.”
Haleigh Nicholas, junior, replied with, “The volleyball team played great Thursday night.”
Junior volleyball player Ellie Westermeyer said, “I definitely think we should've won. I also think we could've played with more effort and cut down on our errors.”
She also talked about the Pink Out shirts: “I think the Pink Out shirts are awesome! I think they did a great job designing them!”
Senior volleyball player McKenzie Pecaut replied with, “I think we played okay-- we could have done better.”
Sophomore Grace White responded with, “I think the volleyball team played pretty well.”
Junior volleyball player Maria Sheible replied with, “I think we played okay, but we could have been more focused. We did have some great plays though.”
Senior volleyball player, McKenzie Overschmidt responded with, “We played okay. We could [have] won that game! We should [have] been ready and focused.”
Freshman Aaliyah Bates said, “I think they played [well] and hard and that the games had some good rallies.”
Freshman Eli Barber had a response about the T-shirts: “The shirts had a cool and meaningful design, and they were comfortable.”
Even though the volleyball team lost in Thursday night's matchup against the Union Wildcats, they still put up a pretty good game. Good luck on the rest of the year, New Haven Shamrocks Volleyball team.
