It’s fall, y’all! Some may argue it is the best season-- with Halloween, Thanksgiving, Fire Fest, cool weather, pumpkin patches, and Fright Fest at Six Flags. Fall is close to the top of the list of the best seasons for most people.
When asked what their favorite thing about fall was, students were given the options of Halloween/Fright Fest, pumpkin patches, cool weather, leaves changing color, Thanksgiving, and Fire Fest. 16 people said Halloween/Fright Fest, 11 said pumpkin patches, 18 said the cool weather, 15 said the leaves changing color, 12 said Thanksgiving, and 6 said Fire Fest.
They were also asked why their choice was their favorite.
Madison Langenberg, a junior who chose Halloween, said, “I love going to haunted houses.”
Destiney Quick, a sophomore who chose every option, said, “Fall is my favorite season next to summer. It's not raging hot like the summer heat, but it’s not freezing cold like the winter cold. Fall is the perfect time to bring out all of the cute clothes and match things with leggings and not have to wear a big coat in fear of freezing. You can simply just throw on a cute outfit and a nice sweater and call it good.”
Lastly, students were asked if they have already done any fall-favorite activities.
Paige Remillard, senior, said, “Nope. I've stared at dead leaves on the ground, that's about it.”
Maria Sheible, junior, said, “I have been pretty busy on the weekends, so all I have gotten to do is watch a bunch of scary movies. Scary movies are literally the best genre of movie out there.”
Fall is here and the NHHS students are excited about it. Have fun this spooky season, y’all!
