The Langenberg family set up the scholarship fund to give the students at New Haven High school the opportunity to continue their education at a community college, college or university that leads to an academic degree. The scholarship is worth $5000 and is payable over a four year period.
Joseph was active in: National Honor Society where he held the position of president, the Shamrock Conservation Clug as vice president, FBLA, and he was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He was a member of the cross country team for 4 years and a member of the Class 1 State Champion Cross Country team in 2017. Joseph played basketball for 4 years and was on the track and field team for 4 years. He earned many honors and awards throughout high school including the New Have Area Chamber of Commerce Youth Citizen of the Year award he senior year.
Joseph is planning to continue his education at the Missouri S & T University where he plans to pursue a degree in civil engineering.
