Monday, November 27th, New Haven High and other schools in the area welcomed Mr. Nadler to teach and enlighten students about the country and culture of Thailand. Randy Nadler has visited schools all around Missouri to teach them about the countries he visits and the ones that students are likely to learn about in the classroom.
Many students have watched Mr. Nadler present countries for years and enjoy the presentations that he gives. A number of students thought that the presentation was interesting and loved it.
“I’ve watched you grow up, and you’ve watched me grow old,” Randy Nadler joked during his presentation on Monday.
“It was great, like always!” Claire Laune, a junior at New Haven High, commented.
This year, Mr. Nadler presented a slideshow on the country of Thailand. He reflected on every inch of his trip-- from interacting with tigers to visiting the most dangerous marketplace-- but when asked about what was most interesting, every single student had a favorite part.
“The white palace was awesome! I’ve never heard of it before and all the detail was incredible!” Grace Soete, a junior at New Haven High, said.
“The most memorable thing that I learned from Randy Nadler's presentation was about the tigers being able to be well-trained and being able to get along with the visitors.” August Panhorst, a freshman at New Haven High, responded.
“I think the most memorable would have to be the beach that he went to with his daughters. The water was so clear and blue! Not only did it look beautiful, but there were monkeys there! The picture of the monkey drinking Coke was hilarious,” Diana Ribera, a junior at New Haven High, explained.
Many are excited for next year’s presentation and wish Mr. Randy Nadler safe travels as he strives to learn what he can and teach it to students from different areas.
